Thanks again and I’d better wait for Rose technical guys help on my case.
As written today, I have the same problem with RS 130. VU Meter mode can´t be turned off. VU meters reappear after each and every title change (at spotify).
I got the same problem before, I fixed it by reinitialize the DB and scan again, it was just spent few minutes to complete 10k songs, you can try this out, good luck.
Thanks for your advice and may I know how can I reinitialize the DB and scan again?
Are you referring to the one above?
@wktangs1 and @Bonte It works for me now. Thank you.
I had reinitialize the DB and then reboot the machine.
Once the machine boots up again, it can rescan.
All albums are back now. Thanks
Hello,
We will work on fixing this issue and distributing an update.
Using the Android app.
Android, all aspects are up to date.
I have the same vu meter problem with RS130 and Spotify
I am using the android app.
Hi friends,
do you know how to avoid the update notification appearing on the screen every time the streamer is started? It’s very creepy to see it, it’s dangerous to accidentally press “yes”,
250A user.
@ROSELOA @ROSEHAN I thought it was over after cold start but it isn’t.
When I changed music from let’s say radio to qobuz or choose another album in qobuz the volume is muted
It’s strange because I use fixed volume.
It shows volume bar for few seconds and then volume is muted
Edit … it only happens when my Holo May dac is connected with usb
When connecting with i2s the problem is gone
Hello Rose team & people in the community,
I’ve now found a bug in the “app remote control”! I’ve just played around a bit and pressed the timer button. I can’t set the timer and a context menu opens on the RS520 display with the message (“Restart system for stable system operation” and there is an X on the left below it and restart on the right).
If I press the X (device display), the radio stream or everything in the music app is ejected and the display returns to the start screen and at the same time the DB is scanned on the bottom left of the RS 520.
As mentioned, tested in RoseRadio & Music (in the app 5.7.8) remote control
It doesn’t bother me, I don’t use a timer. I just wanted to let you know so that even the smallest errors can finally be fixed. Try it out on your devices 130, 150, 150B, 520, 201E…
Before the update, you could set different times or set it to OFF, currently it doesn’t work for me in the app (5.7.8).
Is it possible to roll back to the Early Access version when you’re on the official 5.7 release?
Thanks
Hans
Let’s hope we get a reaction from Rose soon.
That´s what I hope, as well. Another user writes (hopes/guesses/knows?) the persistent VU meters will be fixed with next update.
Which will be…?
I don´t think that the RoseConnect app is the source of the VU meter problem. I guess it is the software for the machine, RS130 in my case.
But I might be wrong. Do you think the perseverative VU meters might be driven or, at least, might be terminated via the RoseConnect app (PC/Mac)?
